Building #1 Description: An 80’ x 100’ x 16’ building featuring the Butlerib® II Wall System and the Butlerib® II Roof System was built to protect the family’s equipment on their Rice County farm, homesteaded by their ancestors in the 1800s.
Building #2 Description: An 80' x 40' x 16' extension was added to the north of the original 80' x 125' building as a loading area for their liquid fertilizer operations. This addition also features the Butlerib® II Wall System and the Butlerib® II Roof System. A concrete containment pit was designed and poured in the north end of the existing building and was covered with a 45-mil liner. This pit is equipped to handle the containment of five 8400-gallon liquid storage tanks. Two overhead doors, 30'x15' and 20'x15', were installed across from each other in the new addition to provide easy drive-through entry and exit for the large spray rig. Just above the fertilizer containment pit, an 8'x8' overhead door was cut through the north end of the existing building. The spray rig simply drives in through the east overhead door of the new addition, loads or unloads through the 8'x8' overhead door and drives on out through the west door and out to the fields.
